Issued Status question.

Hi everyone.

My husband had his interview today and was initially told they would have to do some Administrative Processing before he was approved but could not tell him why. Later in the day today the CEAC status changed to “Issued” however the description underneath said it was still undergoing Administrative Processing. I’m attaching a photo. Everywhere I’ve read said “issued” only means one thing, and the process is complete. If anyone can shed any light I’d be grateful.

if says issued it would mean they are in AP to actually print the visa page to add to the passport

Most of the sites read "refused" until the visa is actually listed as issued or denied

but do not be surprised if it goes to "refused"  or "to ready for interview" as seems like the data entry people aren't on top of the job in many embassies

look for an email that tells the immigrant to pick up the visa at Loomis as indicated

and then breathe a sigh of relief

Administrative processing also includes preparing the package for delivery

YMMV
