Moving during AOS?

I might be moving away for school to a different state and my husband will continue to live at our house. To show that it is only a temporary move my husband will be on all the bills for my rental apartment too so we can show we are still very much in a real marriage. He will also likely visit me a lot since he’s working from home so we can show the officer that too. I am wondering a few things:

1. Should I update my physical address with USCIS even though it’s a temporary move and we are going to keep our house (original address)? I do not want to change my mailing address.

2. Will the case be moved even though we are so close to getting an interview?

3. Have people lived separately and still been approved?

Did you say no to not update due to the fact that it’s a temporary change?

Exactly

YMMV

Sounds like your husband is the beneficiary so I would keep the address as wherever he is in case he gets biometrics/interview.  Hope it wouldn't be too difficult for you to return for an interview if possible.

No no I am the beneficiary! He is the petitioner. We are keeping the address to our house that we own in Michigan together!

Oh, ok.  Well, I guess it depends on how long you mean for by temporary and how easily you could return to him or he could come to you if you need to do the interview.  I'm sure you have docs from the school to show your reason for being there, etc.
