K1 Interview evidence documents question

You should have updated letters of intent from each of you.

A tax transcript is useless for an I-134.

The dates when you met were already in the I-129F. If you’ve met since the I-129F was filed, bring documentation of those meetings.

If you came to know each of other through an online system like a web site, bring documentation that shows that online subsystem is not an IMB as defined by IMBRA.

The tax transcript etc. varies by embassy, I believe. Sydney asks for the I-134 and supporting documentation. Transcripts aren't mentioned specifically but research here showed that Sydney does like to see these. My fiancée sent his transcript and W-2s which I printed out and took with me.

I don't know where your fiancé(e) will be interviewing but there's a reasonable chance there will be something like a K-1 required documents link on the Consulate site that will tell you what it is that they need. Good luck

As far as I know the only thing you need is updated letters of intent. It can literally say the same thing just need new dates and maybe add as if this date I still intend to marry *inserts name* nothing has changed since the filing of our petition. Fancy it up a bit if you prefer. I just mailed my fiance a new letter a few weeks before his interview and he was fine.

Each consulate is different. We made new “letters of intent” and my fiancé was never asked for those. They did ask for i134 and tax transcripts. Best to follow what your consulate asks for than here
