Rescheduling Biometrics Apt for N400 Application

Hi All,

 

After my N400 application Waited for some months and then I had traveled outside US to India for some family commitments. I came to know from my online uscis case that I have Biometrics appointment just after 23 days from that date of the notice.

 

I want to know do I have to use the actual physical letter that was received at my US address to reschedule or I can also use the printout from my online case ? because it says this on the form... "PLEASE APPEAR AT THE BELOW APPLICATION SUPPORT CENTER AT THE DATE AND TIME SPECIFIED. If you are unable to do so, complete the bottom of this notice and return the entire original notice to the address below."

Do I have to get the letter couriered to me in INDIA, and fill and courier it back to US (USCIS address) to reschedule my Biometrics appointment ?

 

Please advice.

What if you use the inbox to send them a request to reschedule and explain the situation.

You can print out the letter, it’s exactly the same thing as they send you. Who knows when you’ll get a new appointment though.

I doubt it will be effective to reply in any other way than the process advised by them.

Yes the printout has the same contents, it has some kind of QR codes and Bar codes. Most probably the QR codes and other things wont change in the printout.

One more question, I read on a law firm website that I need to mention REASON for RESCHEDULING the appointment. However I did not find anywhere on the Notice and neither the customer care agent at USCIS told me any thing about mentioning the REASON in my reply. 
 

Is is required to mention the REASON, there are no instructions on that ?
