I wasn’t asked any questions around where i lived. Officer only asked when I entered US.

I was asked yes/no questions on form, when I entered US and officer asked for my latest w2 form. Good luck with your interview. You are very close to the finish line!! 😊

hi all, new member here & long time peeper, I have this timeline---

 

11/14/20  I-130 received

1/15/21 I-360 received

2/19/21 fingerprints taken

3/4/21 fingerprints transferred to I-360 case

3/8/21 I-485 ready for interview

4/21/21 I-360 RFE for moral character

 

Please pray for me. I submitted everything in a hurry. no money for lawyer.

he flipped 180 degrees after we married. i only had a perm retraining order and police investigation report. i also forgot to send moral character proof and am currently soliciting reference letters from my friends/church etc.

It's a lot of money.  I decided that I will go alone too.

Filed VAWA in Sept 2020 but before that I renewed my EAD card which is now expiring in September 2021. My EAD is based on c09 category since I renewed it before applying for VAWA. Do I keep renewing under c09? My I-360 is not approved yet. Where do I send my renewal now that I filed I-360?

 

Also, any additional advice on filling out the EAD renewal?

if you have pending i-485 and pay for it then send c09 with i-485 receipt notice. you will be fine.

there is no timeframe for that. some people get it before the first one expires, some get it after the expiration of first one and some have to write to Vermont to get it.

I got mine a week before the expiration of first one.

I would say if you do not get in next 2 to 3 weeks then write to vermont if you really need it.

Curious to know. If you file I-485/765, then file VAWA. Do they issue new Receipts for I-485/765 with EAC number after you file VAWA or they keep the same old receipts/case on hold? TIA

No, they do not issue new receipt numbers.

Vermont does not reply but once you send them written letter for PF they do send you new PF.

If its a password protected PDF then just try hitting print and then select "print to pdf" or something similar in the box that opens up. this will save the pdf as a plain pdf without a password that you can save anywhere and print anytime.

Make sure to send your C09  EAD renewal six months before expiration,

go to police plaza in your county and get police fingerprints for immigration ( good moral character) in  addition to what you have already had from friends and families and send them to VSC right away, don’t wait for RFE
