Hi everyone.

my situation is probably more complicated than usual.
I got married in August 2019 and got my 2 years green card in November 2020. Unfortunately my husband was mean to me. Didn’t let me get a job, drive a car and get new friends over here. I’ve been founding drugs at home and he was drinking alcohol often. Last time (3 days ago) he was drunk again and started kicking me out from the house. He steel my phone but I found a way to call police. When officer arrived he told him to sleep not at home. Also police officer helped me to reach out my friends who came there and take me to their house. From the next morning my husband sending me threatening messages, he asking me for 20 000$ and his ring back. He told me that he changes the locks and I’ll not be able to take my clothes. He told me that he is starting process against me and will do everything for IRS to revoke my GC.
Sorry for the details and for my English.
just wanna know what I really should expect and what are my chances for 10y green card.
Please help.
thanks

You already have your Green Card.  File for Divorce and file a divorce waiver for your Ten year.  You do not qualify for VAWA.

Please guys don’t judge me but this journey has been to hard for me. I’m about to give up and file through my husband again. We are still together. Have anyone been in this situation before? If I filed through him do I have to disclose that I had filed for Vawa? Are they going to question about my Vawa in the interview?

Hey dear

Be patient and don’t give up yet. If you do that it will have impact on your new application. What is your timeline ? I am an October 2018 filer.

August 2019 and nothing so far. Only PF.
I have a lot evidence but the shared residence worries me a lot. My husband works out of state and comes home only on the weekend. I don’t know how USCIS will see that and this is driving me crazy. I can’t be denied because I can’t be separated from my baby girl. He will never allowed me fly back to my country with her.

The medical is only good for two years, if your medical is more than two years please get another one, they might not ask you if you are lucky.

A lot of people have different views... someone even quoted my earlier post about getting it done to say it doesn’t need to get done.. best way to find out? Go without it..maybe when you get RFE for it, they will believe it needs to get done! My advice? It will always be.... Get It Done! Better safe than sorry!🤷🏻‍♀️
