Hi everyone.

my situation is probably more complicated than usual.
I got married in August 2019 and got my 2 years green card in November 2020. Unfortunately my husband was mean to me. Didn’t let me get a job, drive a car and get new friends over here. I’ve been founding drugs at home and he was drinking alcohol often. Last time (3 days ago) he was drunk again and started kicking me out from the house. He steel my phone but I found a way to call police. When officer arrived he told him to sleep not at home. Also police officer helped me to reach out my friends who came there and take me to their house. From the next morning my husband sending me threatening messages, he asking me for 20 000$ and his ring back. He told me that he changes the locks and I’ll not be able to take my clothes. He told me that he is starting process against me and will do everything for IRS to revoke my GC.
Sorry for the details and for my English.
just wanna know what I really should expect and what are my chances for 10y green card.
Please help.
thanks

If you You can prove good faith marriage you file for removal of conditions. Consult a skilled attorney in this subject matter. Also @sandranj can provide more insight.

Most people get their interview 5-12 months after i360 approval.. others wait even longer! So be patient it will come. You may even be approved without an interview as we’ve seen here countlessly. Keep busy and stay prayerful!😊👍

Thanks

Sorry you are going through this at this time. Incase you wanted to know if you can proceed without your spouse..the answer is yes! You can absolutely file for removal of conditions without his help! Stay away from him, he is abusive! Contact an attorney who knows what they are doing and you’ll be fine!😊👍 PS anytime you need to talk or need reassurance, this family is here for you!❤️

today he told me that he will use my photos in bikini as a “anonymous email” that he got with info that I was involved in prostitution. I’m shocked! I blocked his number but I’ll probably will not sleep.

Bear in mind that he might be bluffing, purely to scare you.

USCIS discounts things like this that vengeful ex-spouses-to-be do.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Are you asking if your attorney can pull it off(Removal of conditions) or you’re asking if your crazy spouse would follow through with his threats? There’s a little ambiguity here..🙂

It really doesn’t matter if he does it or not.. just like @TBoneTX responded, USCIS will not take his foolishness into consideration! By all means do sleep soundly.. you’re already winning! You’ve got this!👍

My ex-wife played these mental games on me to keep me under her control.most likely bluff but very abusive. Keep records of everything since this was an apparent threat. You may want to file a police report to document the harassment and along with protective order.
check with your attorney on Monday. Best of luck.
