You will need the green card to reenter . Set up an appointment with info pass and they will stamp your passport.

Did anyone receive EAD renewals filed in June 2020 ?

Hello All, I am having such a hard time updating my address with USCIS. I sent few mails to update my address. Reached out to Congressmen, Senator, Congressmen havent got back to me yet but Senator does confirming my new address. I had info pass appointment and they confirm my new address too. And yet USCIS keep sending my mails on old address. RFE and recent bio appointment for I-360 has been sent on my old address. Luckily i forwarded mails to new address so i was able to have them. 

 

What i am missing? I send AR-11 form to Vermont center with all receipts and letter requesting to update address and making sure they will send mails on right address. 

 

I heard sometime USCIS do not forward mails if they are official like USCIS or IRS. not sure if that is true.

well i was in a similar situation. sent multiple AR11 to USCIS to change address but nothing worked.. you need to visit through infopass and change it

I would wait until you have the green card in hand. You could travel out but you basically will either need the physical green card in hand (and shipping that thing abroad is a bit sketchy) or a boarding foil to re-enter.

i thought about this option as well but nah.. i would rather wait

Thank you Shroy123, appreciate your help. Last time i took info pass appointment, they told me they are not able to update the address and i need to write an letter to Vermont, May be agent was new or not knowing the rule. I will schedule an appointment. thank you, hope you will get your GC card asap so you wont need to reschedule your flight. Praying for you.

I am not form the June. just for your information.

I filled in December 2020 for renewal. Last week they approved it and today is shipped.

 

I sent the package in 12/16/2020

USCIS received it on 12/23/2020

Finger prints applied on 01/28/2021

04/08/2021 New Card is being Produced.

Your out of processing time Vermont EAD processing time is on September 2020. Do an out of processing time e-request or contact congressman. Renewals are being delays is taking around 5-10 months I sent renewal on OCT. 2020 I just received my card on hand yesterday.  (6 months after)

According what I got from USCIS via my senator's office apparently you can't use an AR-11 with VSC. You have to write and sign a letter in which you state "This is my new safe address".

 

Then again VSC tends to be a black hole sometimes. I submitted an AR-11 with a cover letter in which I started that the address listed is safe and it wasn't until when my senator's office inquired that they read it and re-send my EAD. Dunno about the approval notice but I managed to a copy via a FOIA so it's not a big deal if it never comes.

I have a question regarding  witness affidavits from overseas.

My family met my abuser after we got married back in the old country. They got their statements ready - now main question - they don't speak English so what do we do?

Do we notarize them in my native language, then send them here to an authorized translator and notarize the translation and send it to VSC then or what?

Ridiculous USCIS proeccing, why USCIS frustrates people by randomly processing EAD renewals ?

Mine arrived in 7 days. It will change again with the card tracking number for USPS.
