Once again I understand your frustration but the officer work strictly by evidence  presented in each case,  USICS Officer / Police etc has nothing do to with who belongs in this country  if you read your RFE they explained specific details of what is lacking on each evidence submitted, they are not questioning abuse evidence it seems your police report proof and satisfied that requirement, but VAWA is not only about proving abuse you must meet, good faith marriage, good moral character, share residence requirements as well, please focused on writing your affidavit with more details about your marriage daily route, marriage courtship,  get a more detail affidavits the way they are asking it.  Please Don't loose your calm focusing on the wrong things and focused on getting everything they ask to be approved.

Thanks am not really frustrated just confused !! But I know God gat me !! Thanks

Blunt, I suggest you rewrite your declaration

Blunt, I suggest you rewrite  your personal declaration and if there is.any other documents you could send please send them. Start from how you met your wife, when you guys start dating how and when you proposed, when you got married to when you guys separated, making sure not to leave out any important details. Talk about when you guys opened your bank account. Explain all the things you guys had together eg lease, insurance, bills if your name was not on the bills explain in detail why your name was not on them an explain the abuse when it started what you dealt with. You have to paint a clear picture for them to understand remember they're human beings like us and they just want a clear understanding of what happened.

Thanks so much I have done that and I am waiting for them to reply me back !! Thanks

Hello @Shroy123 Congrats again. It is a huge burden lifted of off your shoulder. I needed some information. Here is my timeline:

I360, I765 and I485 filled together on November 2017. Vawa approved on July 2019 but due to my lawyer office address change I received it on December 2019. My I360 reads VAWA approved on September 2019. After that no change on my I-485 status. It still reads fees were waved on November 2017. I have no contact or status change with USCIS. would you please tell me how it goes for you. Mine doesn't even show transfer to local office and I haven't done my medical. When was your medical performed? Can I do the medical by myself to stay prepared or do I need to wait? I'm confused. thank you for making me feel comfortable to come and ask you.

Have a blessed day to you all!

If you say so ,I submitted police report with joint bank statement despite me not having social security number ,was still able to be on the joint bank account ..yet they still sending RFE,for me I think sometimes they Dnt know what they are doing ..yeah !! They just wanna make people loose their mind which can never happen to me ..this country belongs to everybody not immigration officers or police ..they make things worst in this country

If you can send copies of the mail/envelopes you received together, that should be helpful. Also, you can ask your phone provider to send you detailed phone bills that have your call/texting history and you can show how often you guys communicated (my lawyer told me about it and once I got the detailed bills from my phone provider I though it is good evidence because it shows that you call each other and text all the time), you can also send screenshots of your conversations. If you are rewriting your personal statement, provide as many details of your everyday life as possible. In mine, I wrote about the place where we bought groceries, names of the places we went to, what we did together evenings/mornings, the names of the friends we met up with etc etc, and I think it all helped! Also if you attended events together, you may have receipts. Did you write checks together? Maybe you have receipts or pictures of presents you guys gave each other. Good luck and don't get discouraged!!

It's probably waiting in line for an interview. My I-360 was approved in May 2020 and I had my interview in January 2021. Still waiting for the card though. I think you shouldn't prepare your medicals in advance, because you don't know when they'll schedule it. You'll have enough time to do your medicals after you receive your interview notice

Oh I have no idea... The officer didn't ask much - said I would receive the card in two to four weeks. Congresswoman and ombudsman received no updates. I guess I will just have to sue them at some point.

I did submit 2 service requests online and wrote a letter, unfortunately no response. My lawyer also send a letter but no response. My aunt was in a similar situation - she sponsored her husband for a green card and he didn't get any updates for two years after the interview. They sued them and the green card was issued without an RFE after that. In general it is very hard to understand USCIS and these delays

I know. keep pushing my dear. I think online inquiry doesn't work on our case. Try again with the congresswoman. God be with you!
