@Shroy123 Thank you for your answer.

In my case, they already said in the letter that they would need the exam to make a decision.

So I thought it would be quick!  I ended up not renewing my Work Permit and my license expires in a few days.  I will probably have to go without driving for this waiting period.

It should be quick.. you will get your gc anytime soon 🙂

Maybe you can use the 180 days EAD extension to renew your license in your state

Hi guys! Congrats to all of you who got an approval and for those who is waiting for approval I just want to say that it will come one day you won’t even expect🙏🏻

As mine came!

So my VAWA been approved from November 2020 and USCIS again messed up with a notice. I still didn’t get it.

But. I got an invitation for interview for

I-485😱

Guys!
What I need to do with medical exam?

So. Ours is definitely old. In the notice it’s saying:You must bring...

”A completed medical examination (Form I-693) and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (UNLESS ALREADY SUBMITTED)

We have submitted it when I was applying with my ex husband back in 2018. It old.

So my question is:

1. Do I need to provide new medical exam?

2. Do I need to do new vaccines? I guess I had documents about doing it. But if I’m mistaken can I get them in the office of civil  surgeon?

3. What if civil surgeon won’t have a time available for an appointment?

Can I send the message exam later?

Thank you very much in advance!

I have just one months. Need to complete everything quick.

Congratulations on your interview notice, I pray you get approved on the spot. Look like we have the same worries with address,  please what is your field office, we have almost the same time line, my i360 was approved in Oct 2020.

1. Biometrics have nothing to do with RFEs for the most part, in other words have an RFE won't put a hold on the biometrics.

2. Either or. These days they tend to reuse old biometrics so they'll most likely just apply the ones from I-360 to the I-485/I-765/I-131.

3. Board of Immigration Appeals. It's basically where you appeal decisions of immigration judges and denials on I-130s to. Not extremely relevant to VAWA.

4. They'll issue you a C09 (AOS-based) EAD once they get to it. They won't issue you a C31 (VAWA-based) EAD upon I-360 approval but that's not a big deal.

Thank you so much Demise, appreciate your response on my questions. I got divorced filed by my wife last year. Now that i am preparing my RFE reply. Shall i add divorce documents with RFE? Notice i received is only two pages. Not sure if i shall ask court/county for full divorce decree.

I have seen couple of people needed to redo fingerprints as this is not code 3 bio. I hope you will be right and they wont ask me for another bio. I am waiting for my EAD/AP filed in November 2020.

Hello Family

What do you think, how long Vermont is taking to renew EAD C09. It's already 96 days.

Nowadays you can not predict the time frame, it can take anywhere from 2 to 6 months some got their renewal longer than that. Good luck

Do you think you could get me a copy of whatever motion was filed on your cousin's behalf? Obviously you know, all identifying features removed. I just feel like I need a sample to build my own version around. This is like the only piece that I'm missing cause if I could get these proceedings terminated, I could just put together my AOS packet and file with USCIS.

His lawyer did it for him. Will try if he will ask his lawyer for a copy

So VSC will still transfer your I-485 to NBC or your local office  before termination of removal proceedings right?

do I have to wait for I-360 approval notice to begin the termination?  What is the termination processing time? Thanks

In my cousin case yes, he went to his i130-i485 interview while he was in removal proceedings for his asylum. The IO approved his i130 but told him he can't make a decision on his i485 unless his proceedings were closed with court. The next week his lawyer filed a motion to terminate with court. 3 weeks after his status changed to new card being produced. And few days later he received the court decision that termination of proceedings granted. He has his green card now

I'm actually not all that sure. If it's an RFE for an I-360 I'd just hold them for now and bring them to the interview.

Appreciate it.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.
