Great I got same response and less than 2 weeks I got a referral from USCIS to send in my medical, now just waiting for my results to mail that quickly. Keep a positive mind

The person should inform  USCIS asap otherwise they will deny the case.

Hi Sandra,

Thank you. In instances where the person no shows to the interview, is it an automatic denial or will the officer look through the immigrant's file to see if they had made an attempt to reschedule (with good reason) or changed addresses?

Does anyone have any info on traveling with Advance Parole during covid/travel ban? It would be to Ireland which I believe falls under travel ban. I know US citizen/permanent resident spouses are exempt from ban. I am divorced but have a valid advance parole document and VAWA approved. Is this very risky to travel? Thanks!

@saraa88, hi dear yes u can ravel if you are not on removal proceeding and your country is not on ban list. As long as your AP is valid you are good without the conditions I mentioned.

You will be fine as long as you reenter the U.S before your advance parole expires ok.  DO NOT LEAVE THE U.S WITHOUT THE ADVANCE PAROLE.

Thanks Sandra! So what if I have to come back after the 1 year AP expires? Would that cancel my I360 and I485 application? Thank you!!

He will

He will  not deny your case because he was mad, but he might hold your case for a while. I always tell my clients that they don't have to answer about the abuse, but if the officer asks  then answer the questions otherwise they  will create a problem with the officer. The officer can ask what he wants about your spouse, they are instructed not to  ask about the abuse.

Thank you @sandranjas always you are a blessing, and the reason why i asked that is not that i had issues answering the questions i didn't mind i was mentally prepared to answer anything he asked no matter how painful that memory can be. The reason why i got worried is that when he started questioning about my spouse y attorney intervene and asked hem no to ask that kind a questions on which the IO got mad at i could her that in his voice and i was in my head im ready to answer anything please don't make the IO mad. After the clash between my attorney and the IO he stop asking about my spouse and concentrated on the yes/no questions and on other question but he was always looking first at the attorney after each question, so idk if her intervening like that he was very carfulle what he will ask. At the end when he asked if we any questions i said no and my attorney said yes, she asked is there anything wrong with the case the IO said no i need to review it and my supervisor needs to review it and she asked do you need any other information the officer said no from what im seeing but again i have to review the case and then he will make a decision so idk hope that my case will be approved and i will be able to have a normal life a safe live. Hope they won't deny me and deport me i have nowhere else to go everyone that care about me are here :(

Thanks for the clarification on the interview questions. I was worried I would have to go through explaining the hard times that made me file  for VAWA...

Thankfully that’s not the case. So please take it easy but its a good idea to go through your application before interview 😊👍🏽
