Hi. My vawa is still pending since 2019/09

if I get approval then how long does kids case take( i don't have from my abuser) if they live in another country. i saw few month ago a post, girl got approval and before her 485 interview  her kid got approval( kid lived another country ) her kid got approval under vawa. is it possible? i heard that after green card we can start the processes for our kids.

when I sent my vawa full package I gave to my lawyer my kids information. when I received prima facie back of the letter had my kids name and birth date .

How the kids process are going ,when we can start it . thanks

@Hritik Rohail, thank u dear. I tried contacting his office but they were not helpful. The guy that picked my call. Maybe I'll try again. Or do you know another senator's office in Dallas that can be of help ?

As far as I know, he is the best. Try to explain your position in writing and if they don't respond, call them.

You file I-824 after you receive your green card

Generally you'd wait for an I-485 to be approved and once you get your green card you'll file I-824 to forward processing of the rest of the application the state department and your kids will go through the consular processing process (DS-260), attend an interview at the US consulate, get their immigrant visas, come to US as LPRs.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

G-325A form is now merged into applications.  That is why applications went from 4 pages to 15 pages

Thank you really appreciate. ❤️

Question: 2 of the third party witness who are writing statement for me are COVID infected. I even have one of their COVID report with me as well. They are asking if it is okay they send affidavit without notary? They both do not want to put others life at risk.

Thank you V family, ❤️

Do you have to include your kids names in the vawa package to be able to file form I-824  ( if they live in another country) after you get your GC? Thanks

I mean you should because if it asks "list all your children even if they're adults, not in your legal custody, or dead, or otherwise not applying with you", and you omit them then stuff starts to get fishy.

Like you can still proceed with adding them but you'll be raising eyebrows meaning that USCIS or DOS will ask questions. The best thing to do if your I-360 is still pending to is make a corrected form, write "Amended" on top of the first page, and send it and a cover letter (explaining that you screwed up and didn't list them because none of them would be adjusting together with you and would instead do follow to join) to the VSC.
