Yes because you are supposed to report when you have moved to USCIS

Thanks a lot. I moved a lot since i moved to US. (27 times in 5 year) as i was student i gave my cousins address who had stable residence. Not address I reported to my school for communication and to the uscis is actually in conflict with where i lived. Will that cause an issue ?

plus having legal status throughout and no criminal history. Will that help a bit with my case ?

Hi everyone,

I did my medicals 2 weeks ago and the civil surgeon Doctor told me i tested positive for Syphilis. I have updated medical records from Dec and i'm completely clean (No STIs) at all. I was so devastated as i don't have insurance and the doctor said i should take 3 shots of penicillin which cost $600 each. I have been separated from my husband since 2016 so i'm seeing someone currently who assured me that we are exclusive. I decided to go to an urgent care for second opinion testing and the result came out negative today. I'm confused, why will the civil surgeon tell me i'm positive and is forcing me to pay an additional $1800 for treatment after paying $625 for the Immigration medical?

My question is; Since i don't trust this Dr, can i see a different civil surgeon with all my updated medical records? Will this current civil surgeon report me to immigration? Please i need candid advise on this as i have been freaking out for 2 weeks. How serious is having any of the STI/Ds?

@sandranj @TBoneTX @Stillwinning!!!😊 And anyone out there who can help answer this question. Please i need urgent help.

I am assuming you did the RPR test. They are not perfect tests, especially at the beginning or towards the end of an infection. They can do more specific tests to be 100% sure but those tests are typically more expensive than the penicillin, and penicillin is such a  low side effect profile medicine that we err on the side of giving it. I am more concerned he/she wants 3 shots not just 1. Unless he/she just wants to scam you which makes no sense to me why they'd want to do that, that makes me think they saw something they are concerned about or its unclear when you may have gotten the STI because typically 1 shot should be fine. You can get another test, and go from there but syphilis is not something you want to go untreated in the event that it is indeed a false negative test.

First of all you should not freekout because it usually take two to six weeks to clear the infection out of your system.
secondly if I were you, I will go to a different doctor for a new medical since your second opinion free you out, which means there’s nothing on you.

And thirdly once the new medical comes out good, I will go back to the fake doctor and take my money back, he/she lied to you to rub you

I already did another test and spent almost $400 and it's non reactive. I had my annual physical in December 2020 just before I lost my job and health insurance. And all my results are clean. From my research, I should only get 1 shot if I have it. But my partner is negative and the new test result is negative. I have not experienced any of the symptoms, neither have my partner. I tried talking to the said civil surgeon, but the receptionist said they'll charge me an additional $250 consultation fee. So I can't talk to the doctor, I'm stuck with the positive results. I don't know if this doctor will reach out to USCIS, that's my fear.

I read a lot, so I know about all the stages and their symptoms and neither of us experienced/ is experiencing any of them.

I think I'll go back there with the new result. But unfortunately, they said they'll charge me extra $250 for consultation, just to speak with the doctor. What a rip-off

Good, but don’t pay anything just show them your second opinion results and ask them to give you your money back.

The two U.S. Senators for Texas are John Cornyn and Ted Cruz.

Keep looking at your Congressman's website until a good phone number is available.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Some not good news over here guys - as per USCIS website they again rolled back i360 processing times to March 10th (yesterday it was March 30th). This happens 4th time when they roll it back in March 2019...never gets to April yet.

I’m an November 2018 filer. Not sure why my case has taken so long but I’ve not received any other correspondence from USCIS except prema facie letters and 2 EAD

I’ve reached out to my congressman for help in obtaining that letter and also sent them a police clearance letter. My case status hasn’t updated since March 2020. What else can I possibly do?

U.S. Senators represent every resident of their state. :)

Reminds me of Mrs. T-B.'s answer as we practiced the Naturalization test.

Q:  Who do the two U.S. Senators of each state represent?

A:  "Every other person!"

If you used your cousins address as your mailing address that is OK.

As F1, we do not have option to keep two addresses as for mailing and physical. I guess it was more like i was living at his address but honestly i didnt. Many students like me keeping different address. I do not recall i ever filed G-325A form. USCI/School would have gone crazy keep changing my address.
