👋🏼 Hello everyone, I don’t usually log in much here, 😭 but this group was the first one I came up when I started my journey with Vawa back in 2018, I did it alone, no lawyer just a 23 year girl with hopes on the ground in life in hope of a better future, was in abusive marriage and felt worthless in a country where she could absolutely do nothing. I was dependent on my abuser and I hated it because I was living hell, and God knows all the stress and struggle I endured, but thru this hard time, it made me stronger much more than that girl that started Vawa, and relying on this website was my only hope with the future I wanted and desired but couldn’t have, but thanks to God, the waiting is over 🙌🏼 and I couldn’t thank him enough for my struggles and the ups and downs. Yes this is a piece of card but this represents more than that, its my freedom , the freedom I always wanted but couldn’t have.
My timeline is:

I-360- May 1, 2018

I- 765, I-485- June 18, 2018

Ist Ead- April 2019

Vawa approved- December 13, 2019

I-485 fingerprints- August 19, 2020

RFE medicals- May 19, 2021

I-485 New card- June 15, 2021

I-485- Approved- June 16, 2021

Best wishes and luck to everyone else 🙌🏼✊🏼🎈 and we are not alone , this group helped me alot in giving me hope and thanks to everyone! Specially @Stillwinning!!!😊 because she was always optimistic every time I posted something new 😭✊🏼  You have a golden heart ♥️ Thanks 😊

Thanks darling! We all win here!🥰🌹🎊👍🍾🎈🥂😄

ok thanks, how long total did you wait for your EAD from application and how long from when you sent letter? did you use senator/ombudsman too? thanks

Hi Vj Family,

I had a previous post regarding my biometrics for i485 and i765 after 10 months. But I have some concerns because I received one more letter right after two days only for i485 biometrics both of the letter says in same location and same time appointment.

i360 pending since October (RECEIVED) 2020

Please let me know, what is this going on ?

Thank you !!

Good day VJ family,

I received RFE for my medical and presently I’m in Texas and my local office is Newark NJ. Can I do my medical here in Texas? Because I still have like   4weeks to spend in Texas before going back to NJ.

Yeah, as long as it's signed off on by a certified civil surgeon (use USCIS site to find one near you), it doesn't matter where it's done.

Probably the fact that the government pays their software developers way below the market rate. Just grab both letters and go to the appointment.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

hahahahah!!! but do you think it will be EAD under c9 or c31? And i am not sure why they wanted appointment for both i765 and i485

From what I've seen initial AOS biometrics letters do generally list I-485/I-765. This is for a C9, the C31 won't come until after the I-360 is approved. I am actually not sure how they handle the biometrics for I-360 since in my case they just reused my old ones from my DACA that I filed a few months before I filed for my VAWA.
