I got an RFE for Medical from NY Office, it came in 10 days late in mail to my attorney. However, I responded to it with the sealed medical sent over to the address they requested (26 Federal Plaza #0127, New York, NY 10278 ) via USPS overnight shipping with signature request on Friday. The delivery was attempted on Saturday and USPS said, "Delivery Attempted No access to Delivery Location." Did anyone experience such issue with their mail? I am afraid if they are closed for pandemic and not accepting any signed deliveries.

 

 

 

This is a follow up on my previous post. I just checked the updated status on the USPS Tracking Page for Medical RFE Response. The address mentioned in RFE letter for mailing the response was "26 Federal Plaza, 7th Floor, New York NY 10278". My lawyer mailed it to the same address and the delivery attempt says it was attempted at the correct address, however the 2nd Delivery attempt says it was delivered to incorrect zip code - New York 10282. I am confused why did they deliver to the wrong zip code, My Medical RFE response is due June 18. Should I get another medical done and send it again to the office. Did anyone experience this situation with New York Field Office?

In many places, one Post Office will handle carrier routes in several ZIP Codes.

Go to USCIS website, go to processing times, then choose your form number e.g 485, and then local office which is Miami FL for you. Hope this helps.

Hello Tashay! I’m November 2018 filler and my case has no update as well (“case received etc” only). I was as well in security background check till my last conversation with my senator that informed me “case is with an agent”. You are close! Stay strong! I try to find lights in the fact that I hold a ead card and I can work. After almost 3 years I know it’s hard but the end is close and we will soon celebrate together!

Hello Maria! I have a business (opened after I got separated to my husband) and still married. 
I inquired with several lawyers in those years and while there is a possibility that he could ask for half of it, they all highly doubt that he will ever wants to go down that road. Especially because the home abuse case (which was the reason why we got separated) and the financial abuse. 

Definitely an agreement is necessary during the divorce process - I don’t want anything from my husband and I will request the same before any final court steps. The law say you have to share unless another agreement is in place. Does her husband eventually wants to go into a contested divorce? Does he have the money? Time? Energy?
Not sharing information is also a key. Let your friend know to not share any assets values or investment values with him or his lawyer. Let’s make hard for them understand if there is anything worth money connected with your friend. 

My company has grown since than and I can tell you I’m not scared about what would possibly happen in divorce process but I also have the weapons to fight in case he wants to play dirty (capital and a good lawyer) things that my husband doesn’t have. 
 

as always, the best answer come from experienced lawyers. If your friend is serious about getting into business in the healthiest way possibile, tell her to invest some money in lawyers consultation and take this as first investment for their entrepreneurial journey.

Of us.  Should I send them now before the decision to prove against that 204c  or i should wait when they send me a decision (denial, or RFE, or NOID) ? To appeal with these proofs if denial, send them as RFE or as NOID?

You can send documents  any time before they adjudicate the case .

So on May 7 2021 my greencards was approved. 
On May 14 the cards came to the mail. But because of incomplete addresses they went back to USCIS.

Long story short. On interview IO made a mistake when we were changing the address in the file ( from ex’s to my current one) and because of this my greencards didn’t make it to my mailbox.

Since then I’m waiting.

Here is couple details which make me worrying about it.

If till August 12 I won’t change the address with USCIS they will destroy them.

I was contacting USCIS and of course they are not able to give me an answer. Because of VAWA.

Senator office not a big helpers right now.

I sent a letter to Vermont  but they will open it not soon.

They just opened a letter I sent them 8 months ago.

So there is no hope it will be resolved until August 12

I have an option to file a I-90 but I will not be able to wait more.
It wasn’t my mistake . And I  can prove it. 
What will be an option?

Do you think I need to get a lawyer? 
Will INFOPASS help me? Or they will tell me the same thing about sensitive case and that I need write a letter to Vermont?

Well the online service gave you wrong information, than walk away. Your spouse doesn't have to accept the divorce, the judge will decide with your husband acceptance or not.

My interview for I-485  was scheduled 5 weeks back and still there is no online update.. Previously 2 weeks back also I've posted the same matter..

I've been patience from last 3 years and my vawa got approved last year.. So that means I've been patience  

. If anyone has got some same experience please share with me  Please be specific to my questions 

1) Did anyone has got 2nd interview notice after the first interview?

2) Did any one got  i-485denied after i-360 got approved ?

Your i360 status changed to case approved..next your i485 will be transferred to NBC then local office where it will join the queue for interview or straight approval. Sometimes you get the update other times you don’t.. let’s see what the coming days/weeks brings with it!😊👍
