Hi Everyone!

I got an RFE for Medical from NY Office, it came in 10 days late in mail to my attorney. However, I responded to it with the sealed medical sent over to the address they requested (26 Federal Plaza #0127, New York, NY 10278 ) via USPS overnight shipping with signature request on Friday. The delivery was attempted on Saturday and USPS said, "Delivery Attempted No access to Delivery Location." Did anyone experience such issue with their mail? I am afraid if they are closed for pandemic and not accepting any signed deliveries.

I had the same notification when my lawyer sent follow up inquiries - they are closed on weekends. USPS will redeliver on the next business day, all good.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Just a quick question, how long does it take to receive a decision after submitting an RFE response nowadays? Does it somewhat depend on how long your case has been pending? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi It depends. Mine took 44 days for the first RFE, 4 months for the second RFE. Other people two weeks or even a year. Its case by case basis and depending on work load. Hang in there it will be done soon :)

Honestly, a lawyer (at least consulting with one) is advisable for a "life event" like divorce.

Online sites might work, but you run the risk of errors and omissions.

It's just like creating your Will, powers of attorney, etc. online -- a big risk.

I personally recommend shopping around for a lawyer who will help you for a reasonable fee.

Avoid (like the plague!) any who want to bill you for every 6 minutes of work that they do.

Interviewing lawyers can be exhausting, but it will pay off in "peace of mind" later.

Than you

The joke definitely worked (even for delayed cases like mine 😂). Finally got a 'new card being produced' notification, 137 days post-interview. I want to thank everyone on this forum for support, moral or legal!! Thank you everyone!!!

Congratulations, so happy for you too let's celebrate🥳🍾💃🏾
