hy take it easy. just relax.

Just work on these things again. It is possible that your attorney forget to send these.

It seems pretty straightforward.

If you are divorce send the divorce decree and good moral character. Get those documents again if you have to to.

If I started the business after I sent my  vawa case  do divide the business?

Probably not. While in absence of a prenup whatever you get while married is technically marital property you can divvy it all by basically agreeing that what each party holds to be their own. The civil courts also generally operate under an equitable division of property in contested cases, so it's unlikely that a business that's yours that you opened up after you have de facto split would get the King Solomon treatment.

For marital status:

They want a copy of divorce order or divorce certificate if you divorced or copy of marriage certificate if you are still married. You might want to state in your cover letter what your current circumstances are e.g. "I married X on [date] and" "remain married to this day" or "divorced on [date]" "see exhibit A (and B)".

For good moral character:

They want a copy of police clearance from somewhere else you lived in the 3 years before filing your I-360. So if you moved to US recently, you'll need a police clearance from abroad.

They also want a statement that basically includes something along the lines of "I have never been arrested, charged, or convicted for any crime in US or abroad, nor have I participated in any kind of criminal activity in US or abroad". If you were arrested, charged, or convicted you want to explain the circumstances, e.g. "I was arrested on [date] and charged with [crime] in [jurisdiction], however the charges were dismissed by the [court that handles the case] (see exhibit C)".

Remember, statements of fact like this can be as short as you want them to be, so you don't have to write an entire novel about how great you are and how you get cats out of trees. A few sentence statement is enough to satisfy this RFE.

Nothing to worry about just resubmit the old documents that you have submitted and update all the documents, police clearance is more important when resubmitting documents they always want it current after one year

Congratulations. Someone also mentioned in the thread that he/she got EAD card without doing biometrics. Could you please share your time. Thanks

Just to clarify one last thing - when did you come to US and when did you file I-360? If you filed within 3 years of arrival then you will need a clearance from the country you lived in previously.

I believe this is an easy RFE, a simple marriage certificate would suffice to prove your marital status! (I know you submitted it previously, just do it again) For the good moral character..you should submit police clearance for anywhere you have lived up to 6months..also if you filed i360 less than 3 years after you arrived the US, you will need police clearance from your home country or where your last location was! But if you were here more than 3 years, you will need to present same document from here.. in addition to police clearance, you can get statements from friends and family etc reaffirming your good moral character.. you can write a statement yourself reiterating same (I did too) absolutely nothing to fret about, you’ll be fine!😊👍
