USCIS have 3 new policy updates today, which benefits at lot. Regarding AOS EAD now will be valid for 2 years instead of 1 years this include EAD Renewal too:) This is great news, Also Trump administration instructed Officer to denied an application without sending RFE or NOID this rule is also change to the previous principal officer will issue RFE or NOID if initial or additional evidence are missing in a case or will prove eligibility. https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual

Great news FeDaniela, just seeing this now…I’m so happy for all who will benefit from this…we all deserve the very best after all we been through! Here’s to us all..🍻🍻🥂🥂🍾🍷🍸💃😄

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have an idea what happens to form I-130?. When someone applies I-360?. If the 130 petition doesn't withdraw the petition then what Happens to the form 130?. I am still married to LPR and he has not withdrawn the 130. Will uscis approve both or convert it to 360?.

Anyone with an idea of what happens kindly let me know.

Form I-360 replaces form I-130

Thanks for the explanation.  My concern is that I saw there was some form of action on the i-130 see the attached screenshot. All this while I had thought it should be replaced with my i- 360 even my abuser didn't withdraw it. I asked the question inorder to know what happens to i- 130 filled without i- 485 when someone files i- 360. Will uscis cancel it or will they process both. I wonder why my abuser never withdrew it. I dont know his motives but I have a feeling he plans something. Do you think its possible for me to request the uscis to withdraw it when I am not the Petitioner?.

Since I-360 replaces I-130 you don’t have to worry about it Uscis will automatically reject it if they find out about your I-360

Hello Everyone,

My I-485 was approved today. It's been a loooong journey for me, but I'm glad it's finally come to an end. Special thanks to @Stillwinning!!!😊 for always answering questions.
Here is my timeline.
My local office is Dallas, Texas.
Attorney is Oklahoma (There is a reason why I am mentioning this. lol)
Nov 13, 2017- I-360 filed
Jan 31, 2018 - RFE (good moral character)
March 12, 2018 - USCIS received Response to RFE.
June 20, 2019- EAD approved (I-360)
Jan 11,2020- 1-360 approved.
Since I was in removal proceeding, we had to inform the court that my i-360 was approved and we would like to terminate the proceedings. The ICE attorney and the judge accepted our request.
April 29- 2021 - filed I-485.
Aug 29, 2021 - Case was moved to local office.
December 27 - We are ready to schedule your interview.
December 29- Interview scheduled (However, since my attorney is in Oklahoma the interview was scheduled to OKC field office. My attorney reached to the OKC field office and informed them that I do not live in Oklahoma.)
Jan 12, 2021 – interview was cancelled.
May 6, 2021, Interview scheduled again at the wrong field office.
May 12, 2021, interview cancelled again.
May 28, 2021 – Attorney received a notice for interview in Dallas field office (interview was scheduled for 6/7/2021)
June 7, 2021 – Card in production ( The status changed 10 mins after I walked out of the interview.)
June 8th, 2021 – Case approved.
Interview was extremely easy, and I was there for total of 30 mins. The officer did not ask any VAWA questions. All the questions asked were Yes and No. Since it was raining outside, the interview lasted about 5 mins, and for the reminder 25 mins we were talking about random stuff. Lol
To all of you waiting… Please be patient and try to keep yourselves busy. Focus on learning something new and growing as a person. Do not let this come in between what you want to achieve in life. For me it took total of 3.6 years. Please feel free to DM if you guys have any question. Good luck all! 😊

A recent reply to this post just brought my attention to it. With i360, you do not need the i130.. with the i130, it was your spouse petitioning for you..but with the i360, you are a self petitioner. In my case my spouse never withdrew the i130.. after my i485 interview, the update on my i130 read “case closed, benefits gotten through other means” that was the end of it! So don’t worry too much from now on… wether it is withdrawn or not, you do not need to depend on it anymore!😊👍

Hi. The question for friend

she’s going open her own company for business she has vawa case , still waiting her approval. She still is married (live separate) does she get any risk for that if she open her new business? Can her abuser take anything from her business? What risk she gets while she’s marriage ?

If both of  you still share one bank account  I will say  yes he can still go into the account and take what he wants

I-485 application was received September 2020

i-485 transferred in November 2020

Biometric in February 2020

interview and approval today June 9 2021 and card is being produced.

Hello,

My I-485 family based green card interview is next week June 15th 2021. I already filed I-360 May 24th but do not have the initial response yet. I have a letter telling USCIS to hold my I-485 in abeyance what other documents do I go with ? Also my EAD gotten based on marriage to my abusive spouse is expiring Nov, 2021. I already filed to renew it but I am scared USCIS may not renew it since I my spouse won't be going with me to interview. Would having them hold my I-485 in abeyance cause my EAD renewal to be denied ?

Just make sure  you have your  vawa I-360 receipt to convince the officer to put your I-485 on hold, once the officer put your file on hold your EAD card renewal will be fine it will not be deny 😊

God will make a way for you. I pray all goes well and hope you get a chance to explain everything to uscis. Thanks for the info. We'll no one knows what mine will say if he is called for an interview but God sees it all and I hope those incharge can see his lies. I hope and pray We all come out as winners.

I hope he doesn't go there and tell lies. Praying for you that all goes well for you. We shall testify

They didn't automatically reject mine as i thought, they made a decision on my i130 even though my i360 was pending already for more than a year.
