Why I see that pretty much everyone got theirs cases transferred and mine isn’t😕😕😕 approved on March 23 and still on “we received your case”

Most of the time it doesn’t update, the best way to know is to contact your congressperson to inquire for you

How soon is your I-485 transferred to your local office after I-360 approval ?

It goes from Vermont to NBC to be processed and then sent to local office.  It depends on how many files your local office has waiting to be interviewed also how long it is held at NBC, once it has been cleared for interview.

Some local offices take 2 months.  Some take one year.  That is why your processing clock starts when it gets to NBC.

Dissolution recognizes the marriage as valid..and is considered a “no fault “ proceeding to legally end a marriage. In a dissolution you guys will file a joint petition with the court requesting a judge review and approve it. So don’t worry as long as it’s not an annulment, the marriage is recognized as valid and besides your i360 is approved so there’s no consequences at all.😊👍

Thank you, you are so blessed that every word you right here turn out to be blessing and ocean of knowledge for strugglers like us, bless you,

If you want, you can reopen the case because it was approved by default and you didn’t know about it because notices were sent to an old address.

Hi Community,
Quick question - I have I485 pending since September 2018, my I360 got approved on March 24, 2021 (Status "Card Produced" on March 24,2021 and "Case Approved" on May 29,2021). I360 Approval Notice says approval date is March 24,2021.
Question - do I need to request either VSC or local office or NBC to reactivate my I485 based on approved I360 or no action is required ?
Will USCIS handle this automatically ?
P.S.: My approval notice of I360 says: "We will notify you separately when we reach decision on your pending I485 applicateion"...so seems that VSC is aware that I have pending I485.

Hello Vawa fam,

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I turn to you guys for the advice on the following:

I applied for my I-360 Sept 2020. With the average timeline, given everything is fine, I am assuming my VAWA will be approved (hopefully) in sept 2022), and the GC in 2023? Am I in the right approximate timing?

I work for a company now and I was wondering if you guys know if it is worth for me asking my company to also pursue a green card for me. Is it possible to have 2 applications pending? If so, anyone knows anything about the work GC?

Thank you!!

I was considering going the same route but I didn't.
As far as my research went - to get a work visa you have to leave the US and get the visa in the Embassy, the process is longer to reach a US Passport (if you would want one in the future), it is more expensive process (but your company might pay if you are super extra needed specialist in your field).

No action on your behalf. USCIS will do all the process internally with your pending I-485 the wait time is base on your local office processing time.
