I believe those are the people who don’t know what documents they need to submit, that is why we are lucky to reach this far may god continue to bless this forum, Amen 🙏

Yes, I was denied myself in the past because I did not submit the correct documents.

Hello Vawa fam,

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I turn to you guys for the advice on the following:

I applied for my I-360 Sept 2020. With the average timeline, given everything is fine, I am assuming my VAWA will be approved (hopefully) in sept 2022), and the GC in 2023? Am I in the right approximate timing?

I work for a company now and I was wondering if you guys know if it is worth for me asking my company to also pursue a green card for me. Is it possible to have 2 applications pending? If so, anyone knows anything about the work GC?

Thank you!!

It is possible to have 2 or more applications pending, but unless you're maintaining some underlying immigration status (e.g. H-1B or F-1 visa) you for the most part can't adjust via work after an overstay over 180 days.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

Oh right, and right now I am considered to have overstayed right? Since I don't have anything except my VAWA pending.

Yep. You might be able to do consular processing for work sponsorship but don't quote me on that one. Still, I consider it to be not worth it unless you have reasons to believe that your VAWA will be denied.

Things are moving quickly this days,  it’s good to think the  way you think  so you don’t have to stress out for approval but you might get approved before that time

I just have no idea on my chances and work sounds more reliable. But I understand that it might not be even an option.

You need to apply for advanced parole and make sure you are not on removal proceedings before you travel otherwise you won’t be able to re-enter the country

Why I see that pretty much everyone got theirs cases transferred and mine isn’t😕😕😕 approved on March 23 and still on “we received your case”

That does not mean your case was not transferred.

best thing to do is to get your congressman/woman to check on the location/status.

I have been trying to get a hold of mine for 3 months now 🙄
