Sure , I have on my 485 filed my kids . I have heard today, after 360approval it’s possible to send I-824 form for child and child and I we were waiting for our 485 approval together. I wonted make sure for that info

Are your children here or in your home country?  That makes a difference.  You cannot file I-485 for children outside of the US.

Thanks for corrected me the form number . I heard about it today and also, a girl posted few month ago , she said her child got approval before her interview. Child were out of country. Thanks for inform me , because sometimes people are laying. Thanks again

It is easier to wait until I-485 is approved and then file I-824.  It does not take long for I-824 to be approved.  After that you have to follow the Consulate  Processing process to get your children here.  Also, because you filed VAWA you cannot do a lot of the paperwork online, you still have to do a majority of it by mailing the paperwork due to privacy.

I filed  several Writ of Mandamus before, but you will waste your time and money because the Court will  consider a delay just after two years pass from filing.

Thank you very much for your response, Sandra. I filed my I-485 based on VAWA 2.5 years ago - I will wait until 180 days post-interview and then think of the writ of mandamus after that if nothing changes. Thank you!

You cannot count your I-485 months until it has been transferred to NBC for further processing.  It does not matter that you  filed prior to I-360 approved. (USCIS holding your I-485 is a courtesy).  Writ of Mandamus will not look at that timeframe as you did not qualify for the benefit.

Just received my C31 EAD card today. It was mailed to my old address on Nov/2020 (even after I sent them 3-4 letters asking to update my address).
So it looks like they forwarded it over to my new address. Today I received my C31 card with the issue date of 11/2020.

No updates online, nothing. The card just showed up today!

Congratulations

Congratulations. Still didn’t get an update for your new card? How about your approval?
