It’s only them that know how they conduct the background check. Patient and prayers is the key to this journey.

01/20/2021 EAD renewal approved

03/17/2021 New Card is being produced (C31)

03/18/2018 I-485 Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

Timeline

When congressperson informed me  (after ask for helped  ) that the uscis are  checking background 485 since 2019  , case still in Vermont and never transferred, what kind of background chalking are they doing . I saw many 2018 and 2019 filler already got GC . Do it mean they have any  doubt about my name or the case?

IF you filled both together and you background check is clear, usually i-485 get transferred within a week, the biggest holdup is Background Check. You can contact your local congressman for an update though.

I filed my I-360 and I-485 in Feb-2019, it took 2 years to get C31-EAD

I got notification about c31 card production in November-2020 but my I-485 has no updates since 2019. 😞

I’ve been living in the USA for over 10 years.

04/2019 - I-485 interview scheduled 

04/2019 - I-485 denied, husband withdrew

05/2019 - Application for  I-360, I-485, I-765, I-131 

12/2019 EAD, AP approval

07/2020 EAD, AP renewal sent to Vermont

10/2020 EAD, AP Approval

11/2020 VAWA I-360 Approved (C31 produced)

01/2021 I-360 status changed to case approved

03/2021 - I-693 deficient notice from national benefit center

When you send  full package  and and live in USA less than 3 years uscis always ask rfe criminal record  from your home country.
