Hi everyone! So I’ve reached out to a Senator about helping me to inquire about the renewal of my EAD and I-485, I was told that it’s still within the right timeline. About my I-485, I didn’t received a response. I am devastated that I was turned down by a job that I wanted to apply just because of my status. I wanted to reach out to the Ombudsman. What did you guys do?

Nov 2019 here. Nothing yet. Received initial PF in December 2019 and nothing since then. Specifically requested PF in April this year with AOS package, they processed I485, I765, I131 in less then 2 weeks, but no PF. 🙃🤔

I'm November 2019 too. Same status like you but I haven´t received even the first PF. I received a RFE on december 2019 and I replied the same month .No news since then.

🙋‍♂️Right here. Oct 2019. It is true that I feel down as well. I religiously check my status everyday. But not even an RFE so far. Got my 3rd PF a few days ago. The renewal sent on c09 is also pending. But a good friend of mine from May 2019 got approved yesterday. So that tells me that I am only 4 months away. So I concentrate on my studies and make myself a deadline to finish a few things before my vawa approval. That’s how I get by.

Great way to kill time! The waiting seems  like there’s no end but trust me it’s coming! For those who are lucky enough to be in possession of a working permit, just focus on your job..make money.. it’s a win win! @Lulu oz take it easy.. you’ll see the end of it. There are tons of inspiring journeys here if you would like to go through the threads... as long as you have done the right thing, this journey almost always ends well! You’ll be fine, hang in there!😊👍

Hello Fam! I had my appointment today at 2. Everything went good. I came back home and check my status at 5:10 and... A new card is being produced!!! I'm so excited, after 4 years I'm going to be able to go back and see my family. Sadly my Grandma died due to Covid and it breaks my heart that I didn't get to see her one more time. But happy beyond measure.

I can’t believe it! Another prima facie valid for six months. November 2018. I mean...

Also let me add that getting PF valid for six months or more doesn’t mean that a decision is nowhere in sight! I got approved shortly after receiving a PF valid for same length of time! Stay positive something great is coming! 😊👍

      SCHOLARSHIP QUESTION

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if any of you have benefited from a scholarship with a Prima Facie. Maybe something for VAWA? I will need financial help to go back to school and unfortunately Financial aid isn’t an option for me. Also, I have found that many scholarships are for residents and citizens only, and I’m technically not a resident yet. Any suggestions  would be appreciated .

Thanks in advance!

I did, very recently too. Not sure how it will work in your case though because my scholarship came as part of my financial aid loan from my school. My school used my PF to grant me a need-based scholarship.
