Might be a silly question, but has anyone travelled to Alaska or Hawaii with their working permit/homeland passport/DL etc? Has anyone ever had any issues/additional questions asked?

I know that there should not be any issues, as it is considered a domestic flight (I usually fly with my working permit or my country’s passport and have never had any problems), but still a little bit concerned..

HILLBILLY VASECTOMY

A Kentucky couple, both rednecks, had 9 children.  They went to the doctor to see about getting the husband "fixed."

The doctor gladly started the required procedure and asked them what finally caused them to make the decision -- why, after 9 children, would they do this?

The husband replied that they had read in a recent newspaper article that one out of every ten children born in the United States was Mexican, and he and his wife did not want to risk having a Mexican baby, because neither of them spoke Spanish.

If you're flying on a DL or an EAD that doesn't have AP then you should be fine. Unless a volcano explodes or terrorists attack or an engine blows up and your flight ends up in Canada or something.

If you're flying on an EAD with AP (aka combo card) just bring your passport just in case of a freak accident.

Redneck family deep in Kentucky woods called a doc to assist with labor. Husband was holding a lamp while a doctor was doing his job. Oops we got a first baby  - after a while.  Doc was happy  that baby looked healthy on a first glance. Ooops - doc said after like half an hour - we got a second one coming. Keep that lamp on for me please! Parents were excited too! And after another half an hour doc was in disbelief! 3rd baby was on its way. Keep that lamp on for me please! Father shook his head in disbelief too and politely asked a doctor: Doc, do you think that this light is maybe attractin` `em?

As per the I-601 instructions in this particular case (permanent bar for re-entry) they'll have to file I-601 and provide evidence that there is a "connection" between the abuse and removal, departure, or re-entry. If there is a cause and effect there, even if it's indirect it can be won, but if there's not (e.g. the departure and re-entry happened before they got married) then the I-485 is toast and the only option left to get permanent residence via VAWA for them would be via Cancellation of Removal at an immigration court.
