Yes i have lawyer for VAWA and REMOVAL. I changed lawyers to do VAWA because my previous has a conflict of interest because she represented me and my husband for i130 interview. But she saw the abuse because he kept calling her and telling her how he will revoke the papers and he wanted them stopped. She called me to her office and i was crying because of everything I’ve been through and she told me to leave and file for VAWA. No one wants to suffer through all that for a green card. Certainly not me. 
The reason they gave me for asylum denial was not “enough fear of returning back home.” That’s what it said in the denial NTA letter. 

You need to talk to your lawyer about the domestic charge and the asylum denial.  They can approve VAWA and still deny you a GC.

As far as I know easy peasy. Last 2 that I know just yes/no questions. Friend got warned by his attorney that there is only 1 IO in Chi that will insist on asking about abuse - all the others are really easy. They hired a bunch of new IOs in Chiraq last year - according to this lawyer all of the newbies are ok. But Chiraq has been known to be a tough place for AOS interviews sometimes and if your status is not set in stone - DO NOT fly from/to O'Hare internationally!

I-485 is typically transferred a couple of months or weeks after approval. Sometimes same day, sometimes they don’t really tell you it was transferred

Hope everyone is happy & healthy in these challenging times.

What is the difference between C09 & C31 ? Does that mean the i360 is approved ? I got the same notification, what happens now?

09/25/18 I-360 approved

09/26/18 i-485 your case was transferred to another office for processing 

04/04/2021 I-485 medical from Brooklyn office(Local)

04/28/2021 I-485 Local office received my medicals. 
5/07/2021 I-485 New card is being produced.
