I agree! But with USCIS weird is a suitable word! So you were approved then? What is the situation?🤔

Yeah I agree haha, weird is a suitable word here. The officer wasn’t clear during the interview, only said that I should get the card in 2 to 4 weeks. Since then, nothing... they finally replied to my congresswoman but the update is really uclear, I thought the file should be at the local office prior to the interview not after

They probably haven’t decided yet... you may get your card in a lil bit..they have been known to say one thing but do something else! Wait a bit let’s see what the coming week brings with it. Wish everyone here more approvals! Stay blessed y’all!🙏🎉🎊

Yeah I am really worried now. Not sure if they are trying to revoke ny VAWA or they just forgot about this case

 I still have not received anything.

Any particular reason you think they might want to revoke your already approved petition?😳 it’s important to stay positive. I don’t think that is the case. Pray and stay expectant my dear.😊 Nothing is impossible with God!

Thank you so much for your support! I don’t think there is a reason, I am just confused by the delay and try to understand what the reason is. The interview was very smooth and the officer seemed friendly

i recieved RFE on my case to provide proof of my spouse's citizenship but i do not have access to any of his documents, he nver filled i-130 for me,he is an american citizen that naturalized, what do i do, how do i respond to this RFE, Thanks

Hello guys! I’ve been reading this thread for a while now but it’s the first time I’m posting. This group has given me a lot of hope and it’s been of an incredible help. I’m finding it hard to keep my head up lately though, I’m losing hope. This waiting game is a torture 😓 
 

I’ve applied for VAWA (married to an US citizen) in March 2019. USCIS sent me an RFE (proof of good faith marriage) back in September, to which I responded in January this year. They’ve updated my status to RFE response received 107 days ago and nothing since then. How long does it usually take for them to give you an update? I’ve submitted a request for an “abnormal processing time” case, the email said they’d reply until the 28th of April but still haven’t heard a thing, does anyone know how to track that request, btw? That number seems untraceable. I’ve been seeing a lot of mid 2019 case approvals and I’m getting scared. If I contact my congresswoman, will that affect my case? Is it okay if I do it without my lawyer?

no i dont have it at all.all i have is his name and dob,he hid all including my marriage certificate.

I’m in the same boat. I’ve sent my RFE response in February and no response yet. I’m October 2018 filer. Be patient and keep renewing your c09 EAD if you have one.
