Good morning everyone,

 

kinda anxiety ridden. 😥 If my case is genuine and serious, is there a chance they will deny it just because the officer is not convinced?

i looked up the approval rate and it’s not very high so....

If the officer is not convinced he/she will present your case to the supervisor they will then send you an intent to deny letter to proof your case with RFE, if you still can not prove it then it’s likely they will deny your case

Most likely C09 but it could be either. C09 is free if filed with I-485 or while I-485 is pending, this holds true for both initial and renewal applications. C31 the first one is free, renewals cost money or require a fee waiver.

 

Best thing you could do is ask your lawyer for a copy of your application package and take a look yourself.

A few days ago I posted here that I almost gave up of my Vawa case. I did had a complicated case but I choose the truth. I told everything that happened on my Affidavit even when it didn’t look good. I was even told by people here that my case didn’t look good. I was desperate because I knew everything I went through. I was honest all the time. If you are reading this don’t give up and always be honest even when people have doubts about you.
 

I filed on August 13, 2019.

3 PF and no RFE.

You just need to send i-485 receipt notice. You really don't need to send any other receipts with that. I only sent i-485 receipt.

Hello Family! Anyone with DMV experience in TX. I need to change my DL andID to Tx. Any tips? I’m a VAWA applicant with C09 EAD expiring in August but I have the receipt notice for the 180 day extension.

I have VAWA receipt notice date: 01/27/2021 and still not yet received any Prima facie as on 05/05/2021 .

Is there any time line to get the initial PF . I heard 90 days. If not are they going to send RFE or due to covid it is delayed. Any idea or advise will be great help.

I have attached my previous I-485 with vawa and I have EAD also from previous I- 485 which will expire in Sep-21.

How they process PF ? Do they validate in detailed this time? many Thanks .

Hard to say because not everyone gets PF. I got mine exactly 60 days after I applied but this was right at the start of the pandemic so unsure how that has affected their timeline. So it could be that yours is just delayed or you aren't getting one but impossible to say which for sure.

Just take your ead, it serves as id and proof of legal status. Go to dps website and you'll find all the requirements on there.
