Hello,

my fiancee is currently visiting me because we had not seen each other for over one year due to covid 19 and Canada would not let me visit her. She has gotten the packet which tells her the next steps. She has to fill a DS-160. Does she have to be in Canada in order to complete it?

We started filling it out and there is a question which asks when is the last time she was in the United States. I do not want to answer incorrectly. If anyone has information on how to answer, please help me. Thanks

She can use the day the form is submitted as the "End" date. The answer can then be updated at the visa interview.

You also have the option of marrying now and then start the Adjustment of Status process. Just note that Form I-765 and Form I-131 processing time is about 8 months.
