Hi guys,

I submitted a I765 expedite request Feb 16 based on job offer. It wasn’t looked at. I contacted senator office March 8 they said they will take a look for it for me. They sent another expedite request through their channels on my behalf on March 9th. The next day the I765 was approved and said “card is being produced”, however, my I131 said “case is being reconsidered.”

I called USCIS and they said that USICS had put a hold on my I131 due to something possibly in my background check and now they have taken that off and it will be processed as per normal. The Tier 1 did not know if I would be getting a combo card at this point. I wake up this morning and it says “case is reopened” for both I765 and I131... the senator said they will find out through their liaison what is going on.

Honestly so fed up! Can’t find any information on it. However, someone did say that sometimes it goes to the supervisor and they might deny it after the officer has approved it. Maybe that’s what is going on.
