Is anybody got approved for N400 while own federal taxes

You need to have a payment plan in place with the IRS for what is owing, otherwise I don't think they will approve naturalization.

ok. there is a question somewhere in the n400 about whether you have a payment plan if still owing and - my understanding anyway - is that it will be ok if so. Good luck!

I was, we were making payments at the time and I wasn't even aware of that. It was not brought up at the interview. They asked if I filed taxes for those 3 years and that was it.
