NBI Clearance and Marriage advisory

Hello,

My husband’s NBI clearance expires this May 2021 and also the Advisory on Marriage from PSA. We are still waiting for an appointment for an interview. When I checked the requirements for interview, it was stated there that it is recommended to request NBI clearance and PSA  documents to be sent directly to the embassy. Should I order it now even if our case is still at NVC? Anyone here who tried sending it directly to the embassy? Thanks in advance!

I am not aware of anyone reporting to have done this.

YMMV

Heard of someone having a PSA document sent directly to USEM but somehow the document didn't make it. Still better to have it delivered to your husband, have it uploaded to CEAC, and let him bring it to his interview.

Will do. We are still waiting for the appointment.. It’s been 5 months now since we got DQ’d. thank you for your response! I appreciate it. I’m contemplating on expediting it or not.

Manila is pretty fast now with interviews.  I would just get the new docs and upload them.  No real need to expedite if you're already DQ for 5 months.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Is the 5-month wait still normal for IR1? I’m just worried that I might have missed something.
