K1 Fiancé Visa Approved- PLEASE HELP

Hello everyone,

 

I applied for my fiancé back in January of 2020 and a few months later, I got Request for Evidence (RFE) and I submitted what they asked for. A couple months after that, we got the approval from the USCIS after which they transferred the case to the National Visa Center (NVC). Now the case is at the NVC waiting to be transferred to the embassy in Amman. Do we need to do anything at this point or is it just a matter of waiting? I feel like it’s taking a really long time and everyone involved in this is getting worried. I am a single parent with full custody of my four kids who have developed a bond and strong relationship with my fiancé so we really really need her here ASAP. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

How long did you wait after sending RFE to be approved

It’s just a matter of waiting. Nothing you can do to speed it up. Thousands and thousands are in the same situation.

Unfortunately, this part is a waiting game. I absolutely LOATHED this part. I would call about once a week for updates if that helps ease your mind.
