NOA1 received but check not cashed

We received the NOA1 last evening March 7 for our I-129F via text message. The check still hasn’t gone through and we’re wondering what happened. There are sufficient funds in the account and no issues with the check we sent. I’m worrying if the check slipped out of our file during the sorting process. Anyone have this issue?

You mean you got the text a few hours ago?  It takes a day or so for checks to clear.

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I would expect the check to clear in the next few days. If the text went out the same day as the check was deposited, it may take 1 or 2 days for the check to work it's way through the banking system.

It could easily take a couple days minimum.
