Wouldn’t worry about it being from Aus.. it really only becomes an issue for high fraud risk countries.

I think the 23 year age difference between my wife and I was one of the Primary reasons our K1 failed.  on the form that they sent to my Wife, Fiancee then,  some one had written on it in Red, "23 years age difference, and First time application."  I would say make sure you have lots of evidence of your communications.  We learned later of the Idea of printing screen shots of out texting using Whatsapp  since we seldom use E-mail.  Best of luck!

I feel like if you are a legitimate couple with legitimate proof you will be fine. Sure they probably will question it but just be honest and tell them in your eyes age is nothing more than a number. I think you will be ok.

My (43F) fiancé (26M) had his interview today and received a verbal approval for his K1 visa; he picks up his passport in 6 days.

He's Tunisian and Muslim. I'm Asian-American, Buddhist, and on the cusp of being out of my childbearing years.
The age gap question came up, as we expected. I think that love blurs the lines of biological age, so aside from my initial reservations of having a flirtation with someone who was 23 years old (at the time), we've never personally discussed age beyond what we would do if we couldn't have children. The only other time was to prepare for his interview. I'm definitely young-at-heart, and he's got some old soul in him and can match me joke-for-joke, so we actually see each other similarly aged.
No other questions regarding age. The other questions were about our trips together (4, not including when I first met him). What his plans were once he got to the US. And why we were getting married in the US and not Tunisia.

Good luck with your process!
