Does anyone know how long a case can sit at NVC? Backstory - we submitted all of our paperwork last March(2020) and NVC came back that we needed to fix a couple of thing in June. Covid hit and we decided to slow down our process. Its been almost a year and we're thinking we should start to send paperwork in so our case doesn't get denied from inactivity. Does anyone know if that can happen and if theres a time limit?

If you look at the email the NVC originally sent you, you should have your answer.

IMPORTANT: If you do not log into CEAC or communicate with NVC regarding this immigrant visa case for a period of one year, by law the Department of State must terminate your visa application.
