Hi guys,

I've lived in TN since last July and applied for citizenship here. I have my interview this week and am wondering about the questions where they ask the names of your representatives. If I'm taking the test here but my ID is from CA, should I answer them based in the state im currently in or the state that issued my id? Anyone else had a similar experience? thanks!!

Your answers is based on where you live and applied for naturalization.

Since you moved to TN since July 2020, you should have gotten a TN ID in accordance with TN laws.  Your CA ID is not really good since you are no longer a CA residence, the address on it is out of date, and you've been a TN resident for almost 9 months.

you had 30 days to change ID when moving to TN (10 days if within the state)

and you were to notify USCIS of address change

you will interview in TN so answers about Senators,  etc will be about this state
