Anyone know the Baltimore County area?

Hiya all

I am just wondering if anyone knows the Baltimore County area? My fiance and I are just beginning to look at places to hold our ceremony... We know that it probably won't be until December of January time, seeing as we haven't even got our NOA2 yet! But we thought we had better start looking!

We are having the reception at my Dad's house which is in Upperco, so it would need to be near(ish). We quite like the idea of getting married waterside... I know it's going to be COLD around that time, so i'm thinking it would need to be inside! But maybe with a view of the water? Hmmm.. I don't know though... Somewhere nice and romantic would be good...

It's going to be a civil ceremony, so no church needed.

We are also going to have to have a choice of 4 or 5 places, just incase our first choice isn't available by the time we can book it!

I used to live in Baltimore County (but moved to Silver Spring, in Montgomery County, in May).

Some locations (not exhaustive list by any means):

• Pikesville Hilton
  
• Baltimore Hebrew Congregation Synagogue (they do rent it for secular events--such as Quixtar/Amway seminars), Slade & 129
  
• Rotunda (though this is actually in the City, near Falls Rd and 40^th St)
  
• Cross Keys (also in City, Falls Rd between Coldspring Ln and Northern Pkwy)
