There is a requirement, you can book an appointment 2 weeks prior to your travel and must be traveling within 72 hours on your appointment date, besides that I called the number and waited a bit over 3 hours

I called 8774872778 and I paid to the officer in the passport agency with my credit card

I got my reuse biometric notice June 26 and after that, nothing has changed.

You will know only when you'll be scheduled for an interview, because the NBC (the place where all cases no matter where you live are going to) only does background checks then they send it to your local office so interview could be scheduled

The interview letter just arrived by mail today, about a week after receiving the email notification. One think I wanted to ask is, is the oath ceremony held on the same day/place after the interview or is it scheduled separately. Does it vary by local office?

When did you apply? Mine did go down one month as well. It looks like its automated. When a month wound up, then everyones' numbers go down by 1, since a month passed.
