Just a quick update from the San Antonio Field Office. We had our interview today (07/19/2021) in the AM and we had the oath ceremony at 1:30 - 2:30 pm. It seems there are 90 slots for same day oath (split into two sessions of 45). All the rest are scheduled for later in the week (on Fridays from what I heard). If your interview is early in the day you should fit into the 90 people slot but if your interview is after 10:30 or 11:00, try to get in for your appointment as early as possible. If you are amonst the last people to get in for your 11:00 am slot you might miss the 90 people slots. Good luck. Blessed to have needed only *52 days* from application to oath.

Great news. Congratulations.

Did immigration officer ask for your spouse to be present during your interview?

Both of us had our own separate interviews. Both had independent applications but the officer mentioned that they try to schedule the spouses on the same day and same time for convenience. Infact the officers went out of their way to make sure both of us are scheduled for the oath together. Everyone in the San Antonio office we super nice.

I've begun checking in once a week now. I know it'll be a while for us. But I like looking at the updated time frames. Seems like they keep getting pushed back, though. :S

Hoping that we don't go through any shutdowns. :(

Can someone help me. How long from filling N-400 to get biometric? I can file Aug 17 but I am out of town Sept 25 - Oct 3 so I don’t want to file too soon and miss bio apt (because rescheduling can be a nightmare and can take longer)

No one can help with that I guess, the problem is that now days we never know if we will be called for the biometrics or they will be reusing our old once, as you also never know when they do it, right after you apply, in the middle or right before they schedule your for the interview, so I guess you better apply after you come back to the town, but it's only my opinion...

I filed in June, and no word on biometrics, yet.
