would you drink out of a glass your cat drank from?

The thought of my pet drinking from the same glass I drank from makes me queasy. I would never willingly/knowingly drink out of the same glass that my pet has. I would definately pour it out and get a new drink. Ugh!

Normally I'm not germ-phobic but remember this...cats lick their own butts. And the butts of other cats. And they eat bugs. And...what if your cat has intestinal worms? It does happen, even with indoor cats. TOSS IT, then boil the glass!

Anything that licks its own butt, is not welcome in my glass, and if it takes it on it own to do so, then yea im tossing it out. i cant drink after humans, i surely wouldnt drink after a cat, and i love cats!!!

Not if I knew the cat had drunk out of my glass, but there may be times I drink from my glass not knowing that my cat has had a sip while I wasn't looking.

yeah I am with some of the others, if I actually SEE them drinking out of my glass I will dump it and get a new one but I am pretty darn sure it happens very frequently when my back is turned. the other day I found one of my cats on the kitchen cabinet licking a stick of butter I had left sitting there and I DID throw that out right away.

I would even take a whole new glass for me to use. Cats use their tongues to clean up all kinds of areas of there bodies, where I am for sure a re more bacteria than you would like to have on your glass.

For health reasons I definately would take a new glass. EWWW
