Yesterday IR1/CR1 interview dates declared for the interview in April 2021 at Montreal embassy. It seems that still Montreal embassy not started scheduling interviews for other than IR1/CR1 category.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1LvnDvX95_tfWtTvsJJM49PDPPvPKal0WG2rgdZHhsz0/htmlview#gid=1638721492

Thank you for this. I looked at the spreadsheet but I'm not understanding it.

Where was this information pulled from and how is it showing only IR1/CR1 are being scheduled for interviews still?

Can you explain the spreadsheet and where the info comes from?

Thanks

In the spreadsheet there is a tab of DQ 2020 , where we can see the all information regarding the filing date, DQ date, interview notification date, interview date, passport received date etc.

I only saw a DQ 2019 tab. I was DQ 2019 but I still don't see where it shows only those visa types. I didn't see any visa types listed.

Where was this info pulled from?

Attached spreadsheet is based on the visa journey CR1 members updated informations and it is regularly updated.

Ok then how does that show that only CR1 visas are being scheduled right now. If this spreadsheet only shows that visa types info how does it show other visa categories aren't being scheduled yet?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm just trying to understand the spreadsheet and why you think only those visas are being scheduled right now.

All timeline relevant to only CR1 visa. It is pulled from visa journey CR1 forum.

Ok nut still noy understanding how this shows that other visa categories aren't being scheduled right now.

How do you know from this that F3 visas aren't being scheduled yet for example?

I not mean that only CR1 visa are scheduled but based on the spreadsheet from CR1 visa members updated information on yesterday got interview notification, may be other visa class also got notification but we don’t know.

But if this spreadsheet is only made to keep track of CR1 visa info and no other visa types are included on it I am still not understanding how from this it would show you that no other visa types are being scheduled.

Sorry if I'm not being clear. I just don't understand haha. How do you get that just this visa type is being scheduled if no other visas are included in this spreadsheet? Is it cause all interview dates are booked up by CR1 interviews for Apriland none left for other types?

If there isn't anyone tracking other visa types then I'm not sure how this shows only these visas are being scheduled 🤔

Based on the historical data as per the spreadsheet, NVC issued visa notification on the same day for the next month visa appointments. i.e. for all April 2021 visa appointments issued to the relevant beneficiaries on March 12, 2021. If you see backwards for the visa appointments issued from April 2021 the same pattern  can you see for other months also. visa appointment of the subsequent month issued all in one day of first week or second week of that current month.

If they have started visa appointments for other than CR1 visa category, you may receive visa notification on March 12, 2021 through email as per historical data of the spreadsheet for the visa appointments which explained earlier as per my understanding of the spreadsheet.

I am also eagerly waiting for the F3 visa appointment as my DQ in March 2020. But I am surprised to see that DQs from July 2019 yet waiting for the visa appointment.

But for us we aren't waiting for NVC to book our appointment  anymore. They already sent our case to the consulate and booked our appointment but it was canceled. So now it's in the hands of the consulate to reschedule the appointment not NVC. It probably won't follow that same pattern now since it's not with NVC any more.

Also that pattern may only be for that visa type. They could send letters for other visa types on different days. It's too hard to say how they do things for all visa types. We got our interview letter on February 21st 2020.

Hope you will get visa appointment soon. If earlier cancelled visa appointments interviews begins then hope for others who are waiting in a queue for appointment like us. If you get any communication from embassy for the visa appointment, please let us know .

For sure. I would hope they would start with canceled interviews first and if so you're right, thar means others behind us still have to wait. I will definitely update as soon as we hear anything 🙂.

We emailed them last week asking them if they are scheduling F3 interviews yet and if so how are they handling canceled appointments. Haven't heard back yet. Hopefully soon.

We emailed the Montreal Consulate to see if F3 visas are being scheduled for interviews yet and in particular the ones that had interviews and were canceled back in 2020 cause of the pandemic (like ours was) and need to be rescheduled.

Here is what they said...

Good afternoon,

Please note that your case is in queue to reschedule your appointment. We are processing immigrant visas and will prioritize Immediate Relative family members of U.S. citizens including intercountry adoptions, fiancé(e)s of U.S. citizens, and certain Special Immigrant Visa applications, as well as other mission critical categories such as medical professionals. While we aim to schedule and process cases as soon as practicable, there are likely to be increased wait times for completing services due to the ongoing pandemic and substantial backlogs.

We will continue expanding our services, including processing F3 visa applications, following State Department guidance to safely return our workforce and the public to Department facilities. For more information on phased resumption of services please visit: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/phased-resumption-routine-visa-services.html

Thank you for your patience and cooperation,

Regards,
