I have a problem, hopefully someone can help.

We accidentally forgot to send the $70 biometrics fee within the 87 day time allotment. We were send a notice saying the i-485 would be denied b/c of this. So we filed a motion, suggesting it not be denied and sent the $70 (as the customer rep at uscis told us). We received a letter today stating that they rejected the fee, and another form saying it was not required. Why was this denied?

Thanks

You need to go see an immigration lawyer..... looks like your AOS was denied based on the fact you failed to respond to the RFE within the time allowed.... you may end up having to refile the whole AOS again....

Kez

And if you need to refile, you need to do it before the fees go up July 30th.
