Thanks, Mike!

No, we've been monitoring ever since the we sent out the documents. It never showed on our account

Please call your credit card company saying you suspect a payment of $X to USCIS has been declined, they'll tell you.  Declined electronic transactions will not show in your history/online account.

Breathe, you will be fine.

Some banks block certain payments automatically, thinking it's fraud. We have had that happen at the most ridiculous payments that were not fraud at all. But better safe than sorry!

I always pay with a personal check with any paper filing, seems to work the smoothest. I have seen many posts about having issues with the credit card form/payment. No need to wait for your package to get returned, you already got the confirmation it was rejected from the person you talked to. Send a new copy asap.

Why wait for the old packet? Cancel the MO (if you have the receipt) or check and refile a new one ASAP.

It may take a month before it gets back to you. Why would you wait to receive it to check if you were right? USCIS has rejected it. Save time. When you get the other, just trash it. Understand what I mean?

And if you were paying with credit card, I would suggest get a MO. Credit card payments have been known to cause issues.

Fee for I-751 is $680

I completely agree with this ^^^^ as it is unlikely you can intercept the package that appears to already be on its way back.  Hopefully you have a copy of your submission so you can easily submit it again, and use either a MO or personal check (I prefer personal check, less hassle).

As others have said, take a deep breathe and relax.

Good Luck!

Would it cause any issues resubmitting? The original one sent is not "open" given that it was rejected?
I have it all here and can send as soon as today.

Sorry if this question sounds pointless, but would it cause any issues if I resubmit a new one? The receipt says:

Please follow the instructions to resubmit your case.

Is this just regular lingo or are there a specific instructions to resubmit?

No. It won't cause any issues if you submit a new one. Why? Read below.

That's why we told you cancel the check.

But I read you were attempting CC payment. Freeze it, send a new package with cashier's MO from WU or wherever, unfreeze your CC when you get the other returned package back. When you freeze or get a new card as noted below, USCIS won't able to cash. No payment = no service. They will send it back. Anyway, they already said they rejected it.

However, if you don't wanna freeze your card for unforceable future, I'd suggest request a new one from your bank. It should be with you within a week and you can use it without the worries of freezing/ unfreezing.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
