I call 🐂. We never saw the Capitol attacked, bear spray, stun guns, Congresspeople hunkered under their desks fearing for their lives? I have been under fire in the workplace and it is terrifying.

 

 

I agree resulted in 20 dead  and over several months , but 9000 mostly peaceful protests.  No one here was promoting violence or property damage on behalf of BLM protesters and even Helen Keller could see that is not the goal of the blm movement. How many peace officers were killed in those 9000 protests?

 

How many of those deaths were from handguns? Maybe those protests should have had zero tolerance for hand guns in the protest zones.

Even if a protest is mostly peaceful, it does not excuse the violence perpetrated on behalf of or because of the protests.  The simple fact is the hypocrisy from the Left is huge, but of course that is just fine.  I agree, Helen Keller would see the real goal of the BLM protests, and it is the same as these folks that committed crimes on January 6th (i.e. overturning the government and instituting their own vision for political power).

Agreed to the on behalf of, much of the violence came from counter-protestors though and at least some with anarchy in mind.

Clearly, BLM was not about overturning the government with violence. Instituting a new vision of political power is exactly what BLM is about, and using the ballot, petition and peaceable assembly is exactly how it is done. I don't disagree with the social and political aims of the movement, even if I disagree with some of the specific "planks"

So tell me how counter-protesters were responsible for the BLM/Antifa activists storming a federal courthouse and attempting to kill those inside?  Were the counter-protesters present when businesses were being looted and destroyed in Wisconsin by BLM/Antifa?  We had a Summer of violence against government institutions and businesses that was largely ignored by the MSM and the Left/Dems, but January 6th was the worst attack in the history of the country?  Were those protesters using commercial fireworks and high power lasers?   Btw, no one here has ever failed to condemn the attack on the Capitol, and no one has tried to justify it like you are trying to justify the violence by BLM/Antifa.  You say clearly BLM is not about over-turning the government while ignoring their actual Marxist intent.  Whatever, at least we know Helen Keller would have seen it clearly.

I just stated that violence came from protestors, counter protestors and anarchists. 

 

And..yes there has been defense of Proud Boys and Oath keepers and social media platforms that enable violence before and after in this forum.

You said they were using the ballot box, petition and peaceful protesting, but for some reason completely ignoring the fact that BLM/Antifa is initiating, and encouraging the violence all on their own with almost no push from outside groups.  Sure, just like January 6th, there were folks there peacefully assembling, but regardless of the supposed or imagined message, violence is wrong.
