The director of the FBI considers racially motivated domestic extremists such as white supremacists the “top threat” facing Americans, as the nation continues to learn more about such people who perpetrated the deadly insurrection at the US Capitol last month.

“The top threat we face from [domestic violent extremists] continues to be those we identify as Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists (RMVEs), specifically those who advocate for the superiority of the white race,” FBI director Christopher Wray testified before members of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.

Except it has been proven that there were BLM and other activists there in the Capitol urging people on.

The real problem Ray faces is that he stated there is no systemic racism in the FBI.  I thought Law Enforcement Agencies were by definition systemically racist.

What I read about him is that he had it in his vehicle during the whole thing and not actually at the Capitol. 

Do you find it weird that they have found these people at the Capitol but still haven't released more footage of the person or persons that put those "bombs" at the RNC and DNC the night prior to the Capitol, also how no one is talking about them now?

I think these are open investigations, and investigations take time if they are to be done right. There is low hanging fruit and then there are other things that need more digging into. It's only been 8 weeks remember. I think I hear about what happened at the DNC and RNC buildings at least once a week, though I have not been paying a lot of attention this past week (health emergency at home that is resolving, hopefully).

 

I also think it's a distinction without a difference to say because he did not have the firearms (maybe) with him at the Capitol, that that somehow does not count. And we can disagree about that in good faith I think. He was at the Capitol and arrested on firearms charges by the Capitol police. Where would the Capitol police arrest him if not at or near the Capitol?
