I received this, information. Help ?

Is it because I haven’t paid the fees in full ? But my office said they already paid for the fees.

But then numerical limitations, regarding

  • Unmarried children age 21 or older of U.S. green card holders are considered “Second Preference” relatives, in subcategory 2B. This category allots only around 26,000 green cards per year, so your child will likely have to wait many years before a green card becomes available.
  • How long ? We’ve petitioned for the unmarried adult 6 years ago.l

Summary Information

Due to the numerical limitations on immigrant visa issuance prescribed by law, this petition is not eligible for further processing at this time. The National Visa Center (NVC) will retain the petition until an immigrant visa becomes availlable. The NVC will notify the petitioner, principal applicant, or attorney of record when this petition is eligible for further processing. The principal applicant should not make any firm plans such as disposing of property, giving up jobs, or making travel arrangements at this time.

What exactly is your question?

Until a visa is available for your category, not much happens.

Sorry , my question is indeed, ;( , still thanks for answer :D

how do i look into the date ? Until a visa is available. I understand i have to look at the bulletin board , for further dates , though how I don’t see the country category? Does it mean they don’t accept it this year.

Which visa exactly?  When was the petition submitted?  When was it approved?  Are you looking at the visa bulletin?

You won't get good answers here by providing incomplete information.

Thank you for your response, I was able to log into uscis, And I saw that The IV fee and IV application. There’s nothing updated ? The office (that helps me filing the paperworks )has claimed that they have already paid and send in the IV applications but because of covid uscis is behind it and didn’t update anything . I don’t know if ta true , I already gave the office the money to pay for the IV fee.

What “office” is this you are talking about? A lawyers office? There is something of a backlog at NVC but you can also call NVC directly if the fee is supposed to have been paid and is not being reflected.

I don’t believe you’re supposed to pay until a visa is available, but I’m not sure.

Maybe @SusieQQQ or @HRQX can help further.

Usually you get the invitation to submit documents and pay fees when the priority date is current in chart B, “dates for filing”. For March visa bulletin this is current to May 2016, @Miaval did not specify when in 2016 they filed but this is likely it. So miaval, if all documents have been submitted and fees paid you are now what is called “documentarily qualified” (also known as DQ here on visa journey) and you just need to wait for the priority date to be current in table  A before an interview will be set. I don’t know who told you there is still “many years” to wait but that is incorrect. It is usually less than a year from paying fees to interview dates, though please be aware this year with Covid, ending of the ban etc timelines could be messed up.
