What happens if my fiancé becomes pregnant during the K-1 Visa process?

What would happen If my fiancé becomes pregnant during the k-1 visa process? Would it extend the process ? Would it still be the same ? I’m planning on meeting my fiancé  and we both want a child ..

Not really.   Do you have any specific concerns that prompted the question?

 Be careful.  I suggest meeting, spending time together....THEN decide upon your future.  Anyway, pregnancy, in itself,  is not an issue....and it is not a valid reason to expedite a case. A child born there would be a separate matter which would require a CRBA for him/her.

We are both young but it seems that we both want the same . I’m asking  about pregnancy because it is actually great for me because I would have a child at the moment she arrives in the United States . I’m like 2 months away from seeing her . I just want to be informed .

If a child is born, assuming you can pass citizenship upon birth, the child can claim citizenship (thus a US passport) upon you filing a CRBA abroad

Lol I know . Trust me . I’m not desperate . I’m just open to the opportunity since a family is what I have always wanted .

How long does the CRBA take to process ? Would i need to be present abroad when the child is born ?

How does she feel about this? It might be great for you to receive a package deal of wife + child, but it would mean she would go through the pregnancy without you being around to support her. Getting ready to emigrate can be stressful enough already.

She is up to the task . She also wants a kid so bad , just like me . we are both single . Never been married . I did all my partying and dating already . I never found someone worth my time and effort . This girl has the potential to be my wife . If she is pregnant , I will support her financially .

and does affect in the following ways:

DNA test to prove it is your child are costly

if granted a K1 ,  most airlines do not allow travel in the last trimester

 

as far as immigration is concerned,  you are rushing into the relationship as you need time to know the person 

nothing wrong with talk of a future and possibilities of family but the idea of planning a child when neither of you have witnessed the other's culture and seen personal values is premature

 

really we all wish you success and happiness but your head must rule these life changing decisions

How can I take a dna test ? If I live in Las Vegas and she will most likely do her paperwork in bogota.

Well said.  There is no guarantee that she will like or adapt to US life.  But, we all know that love is blind.....so, our words of caution are wasted......

She lives in venezuela ... minimum wage is like 2 dollars a month . She wants to get out of it , even tho she does not bring it up a lot . She has not ask me for any money . She seems like a good girl .I mean if I feel the same conection in person , then I would take every action I can to bring her over with me . Even if it means having two - three  jobs
