Curious if anyone has seen any movement in employment based visa interviews since the proclamation (pp10014) was recently rescinded?

PP 10014 was rescinded but PP 10143 that Biden issued in January is still in place: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/01/28/2021-02024/suspension-of-entry-as-immigrants-and-nonimmigrants-of-certain-additional-persons-who-pose-a-risk-of Are you somehow exempt to PP 10143? If not, odds are DOS will use the unlawful "No Visa Policy" as an excuse to not issue the visa. That policy is unlawful because the Proclamation is specifically about entry so someone subject to the Proclamation can travel to an unrestricted country (e.g. Mexico, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, etc.) for 14 day stay and then travel to the US. Also, after being ordered by Federal courts DOS has issued the visas with an annotation saying "subject to presidential proclamation"

There is yet to be a universal order for all visa types issued by Federal judge.

Thank you for the info! we are not exempt unfortunately.
I worried that this might be the case. I had a feeling the travel ban would be used as a way to prevent the issuance of new visas. I hope it's not the case, but can see it happening.

It sounds like embassy interviews are distributed around the 15th of each month, so I assume we will know a little more in the next week or two!

Thanks again,
