Just checked myUSCIS and saw that our case was approved yesterday!

PD - March 30, 2021

Actively Reviewed - Sept 08, 2021

Approved - March 02, 2022

As far as I know my case has been at the Texas Service Center.

Does anyone know how long it takes for NVC to receive the case?

Did they also provide the case number and ceac access within that email, or did you have to wait for another?

Yes we got the case number and invoice number in the first email. After you get those, you can login to the CEAC website and pay the fees.

Hello everyone! Finally I was able to get my wife’s civil docs in order. I recently uploaded all the civil documents and financial documents. Couple questions..

- one of the items under document type is “photographs”. I am confused as to why it says photographs and not photograph. I uploaded one digital passport style photo of my wife. Are we supposed to attach more than one? I am concerned that after three months I have to re-submit on basis of small thing like not submitting enough photographs.

second question
- after uploading the documents, I hit submit. Now on all documents it says submitted. Does that mean it’s ready to be reviewed and I don’t need to do anything at this point? Just want to make sure there is no other submit button hiding anywhere.

appreciate your help!

We just went through the NVC stage (finished last month). We only uploaded 1 passport-sized photograph of my wife + her passport bio page. That was all they needed. She brought a few to her interview but they didn't ask for them.

If your documents say submitted, then yes, it's ready for review. I wondered the same thing lol. Once it says submitted, it starts counting how long you've been waiting. The NVC processing time estimates seem pretty accurate. It was accurate to the day in our case! Sounds like you are fine from what you've said.

Me and my husband decided while we are at the nvc stage to treat ourselves and he’s coming to uk today and tomorrow we fly to Italy for couple days.

Tbh I am so excited but at first all I was thinking was all the money and time off work, but now I think we need some time for our self’s.

PS: nvc is processing applications received on dec 3rd so I think by the end of march or beginning of April we will have a update on our case.

PSS: can’t wait to inhale all the pasta and carbs

Hi guys, I'm an April K1 filer but I know someone who filed I-130 in March 2021 (that's why I'm following this group) and she just got her petition approved today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They received her petition March 22 2021 and approved today, 03/14/2022

Does anyone know next steps she should take? How long until we can contact the NVC? Isn't there a way to get the account information quicker so we can get the documents ready? Thanks all! And good luck
