Hi!
If I were you, upload the correct documents under the correct name in additional documents. Do upload or change any documents that are in the required documents section.

I had forgotten to upload my W2 and didn’t realize till 2 months after. When I uploaded in additional documents it didn’t affect my submission date and I was DQ’d on time.

Thank you so much for this. Great advice! I’m going to do this this evening! It’s such a little thing but I’ve been worrying so much about it potentially costing us a huge amount of time.

Yes we did this 2 days before the application was approved. We didn't upload any "required" documents, just uploaded a corrected i864 in additional documents.

Thank you! Will do this.

No problem! Happy to help. Don’t  worry too much. This process is stressful enough. You will get DQ’d on time!

also. I haven’t uploaded W2s for myself or my sponsor (only my joint sponsor) as my husband and I have both been in England for 4 years so haven’t got them.

Have you uploaded a statement stating this?

No I haven’t! Should I do this too? Is that literally all it needs to say?

Yes you should. Any required document that you don’t have. You have to upload a signed statement explaining why you don’t have it. I’ve seen people get RFES because of this. No required document should be left blank

No problem. If you have any questions feel free to ask. My husbands visa was just issued! So we are almost at the finish line.

Thank you so much for your advise. We got DQ last night so all worked out in the end! I booked medical today for 2nd March, now to await interview in London.

I have not yet received my interview date from NVC (only DQ'd two days ago). I was looking on the London Embassy Website for advice and have gotten a bit confused. Do I wait to be allocated an interview, or do I go on there and schedule one myself?

After the NVC DQ's the application it is forwarded to the local consulate. The consulate will schedule it and then you'll get an email from the NVC with the interview date.
